    Responsibilities

    The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising a corps of volunteer staff, who provide patient care and support roles in the hospice program. Oversight of the volunteers will include: recruitment, interviewing/selecting, orientation, scheduling, record-keeping, supervision, evaluation, recognition, retention and ongoing support.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Two years of professional work experience that includes recruitment, training and/or supervision( Previous hospice experience preferred)
    • Excellent data entry skills required
    • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required
