    Responsibilities

    Coordinates the resolution of returned checks/EOPs and refund checks by recording inventory, performing triage, analysis and claims adjustments. Maintains log of returned checks/EOPs and refund checks. Completes research and adjustments on returned checks/EOPs and refund checks. Completes weekly check run activities. Serves as Claims liaison with Finance Department.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • minimum 2 years of college required
    • 3-5 years of claims processing experience in a managed care environment
    • DRG, ICD-9, CPT, HCPC coding experience required
    • Familiarity of Medicare regulations and medical terminology required
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Accounting and technical experience or aptitude essential.
