The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s technical infrastructure through effective troubleshooting, user administration, and basic networking tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and follow through on technical issues. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for endpoints, systems, and networking devices.
• Manage user accounts and groups via Active Directory, ensuring accurate access control and permissions.
• Perform user administration tasks within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including account provisioning, password resets, and license management.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues including TCP/IP connectivity, DNS resolution, VLAN configurations, and firewall access.
• Document and escalate unresolved technical problems to Level 2 support or appropriate teams.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with users regarding incident status and resolutions.
• Enforce MJHS hardening baselines for servers, Wi-Fi, and wired networks to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
• Execute and monitor patching cycles, perform vulnerability scans, and enforce compliance policies to maintain a secure IT environment.
• Maintain an accurate asset inventory, including warranty and lifecycle data, to support effective device management and planning.

• Escalate complex technical issues promptly with detailed notes and context for efficient resolution.
• Identify recurring problems and propose procedural or technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation essential to IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Information Technology or relevant certifications such as CompTIA  A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-100). 
• 1–2 years of experience in systems analysis, IT support, or a related technical role.
• Strong foundation in troubleshooting, user administration, and basic networking. 
• Experience working in a dynamic, multi-system environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to follow through on tasks and assignments independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Center for user and license management.
• Knowledge of Active Directory user and group management.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Experience with endpoint security practices and patch management preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
