Responsibilities

Provides nutritional care to residents in accordance with applicable federal state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility's established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition, Master’s preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience required in healthcare or long term care, 2 years preferred.
  • Microsoft Office, E-mail and Internet Navigation.
  • Registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association with intent to take Registration exam within two years.
  • Knowledge of basic and therapeutic nutrition, food nutrition values, and regional ethnic and religious food preferences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to the needs of residents, their families and designated representatives.
  • Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.
