Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Sales Operations, the Senior Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for various activities in support of the Sales Department. Job functions include member contact, Enrollment Counselor support, lead management and outgoing member calls. The Senior Sales Operations Specialist manages and runs Elderplan Compliance Data Exclusion Reports; provides coaching and guidance to Retention Specialists; assists Benefits Advisors with insurance verification; schedules visits with members and prospective members as needed, and completes other ad-hoc reports as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, BA/BS degree preferred
  • Two or more years in a customer service environment
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) User knowledge of health care related computer systems/applications
  • NYS Health and accident License Preferred
  • Strong listening skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English
