Responsibilities

Through evidenced-based practice, work with residents in order to improve/maintain quality of life, with respect for individuality and to ensure the highest level of independent functioning.  As change agents, social workers ensure the dissemination of information to all stakeholders regarding continuum of care services.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work
  • LMSW preferred
  • At least one year experience in geriatric/medical setting
  • One to two years and/or student placement with the population to be served
  • Evidence of excellent written and spoken English
