Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility 
  • Responsible for monitoring patient conditions and responding appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with the nurse leadership and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient conditions.
  • Appropriately assigns duties to Certified Nurse Assistants based on patient needs, staff availability and unit needs.

Qualifications

  • Certificate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
  • NYS certified LPN license
  • Good clinical patient care and communication skills.
  • Must be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English is required.
